A spotlight on Japanese-American electronic artist Shigeto, Densho uses a slice of his family’s history to explore his musical identity. Giving voice to the current of generations before Shigeto & his brother, we learn about their family’s experiences during and after the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II. Between an intimate conversation with his mother, Lori, and grandmother, May, Densho tells the story of cultural heritage being the constant influence in Shigeto's sound.
