On January 1st, 2024, Miami's Bayside Marketplace became the centre of widespread alien speculation following a chaotic incident in which a viral video that showed a glowing figure wandering the streets captured a massive police presence at the scene. The incident sparked both serious discussions and humorous takes on the supposed alien sighting, continuing the enduring fascination with UFOs and extraterrestrial life, particularly in Florida. Terra is set against this backdrop - this very night - and follows a being, alien to our own, who spends the night roaming Miami Beach.
